ITALY | Inaugural Meeting of the Priestly Fraternity of the Southern Province

PROVINCE OF ST. THOMAS AQUINAS

After roughly three years of joining the priestly fraternity of the Roman Province of St. Catherine of Siena in Rome, the priests from the southern regions of Italy finally gathered together as an independent group under the care of the Southern Italian Province. The first meeting took place on 16 January 2018 at the convent of Madonna dell’Arco in Naples. It was organized under the initiative of the Prior Provincial, fr. Francesco La Vecchia, OP, who presided over the inaugural assembly.
